Wattsaver Australian Made Downlight

The DL7-1400 in production

About Us

The DL7-1400 and DL9-1400 are Australian made LED downlights, designed to replace and out-perform high wattage 50W halogen downlights for a price that allows ROI to be achieved within 2 years.
These lights produce 1400 lumens across all color variants and are one of the brightest 15W downlights (14.9W with driver included) on the market. The DL7 and DL9-1400 have a CRI of 90, this combined with their superior heatsink design makes them compaiable with the best LED lighting out of europe in all aspects but price.

The following features make Wattsavers downlights a leading edge product:

  • Latest Generation quality COB chip (HR series) from a leading manufactuer Edison-Opto.
  • Prismatic reflector, which multiplies the light output creating an even lux illumination across the beam. This ensures (unlike other LED downlights on the market) we get an even spread of light, not a spot effect.
  • Heatsink designed with a fused central core to effectively connect the cooling fins to the luminary body. The result is superior heat dissipation. We have tested our heat sinks in 40 degrees and have posted a thermal report on our website. The chip remains below 49 degrees in normal operating conditions.
  • CRI of 90 - the most natural LED light yet.
  • 108 lumens/Watt.
  • 5 year warranty on driver and downlight.
  • Dimmable on both leading and trailing edge dimmers
  • Future poof. Wattsaver are releasing innovative dimming, automation and driver solutions that will function with their product range.
  • Australian Made status. This means 50% of production costs are incurred in Australia. We use local glass suplliers, paint the heatsink locally and assemble the luminary locally.
  • 4 colour variants; warm white, sunrise white, natural white and cool white.
  • Custum trim colours on request.
  • Manufactuer direct pricing. We are the manufacturer and we market directly via the internet with low overheads. Our pricing/quality can not be beaten.

Wattsaver have produced an LED downlight with an industry leading lumen/price/wattage ratio that out-performs a halogen and performs better than any other product in its price bracket. Trial a DL7 or DL9 - 1400 for a week, if you are not happy, send it back and we will refund you. This light performs and the quality is apparent when you handle it.
